Dia De Los Muertos is known as day of dead from Mexican and we used it as our food promo theme. This event was held during my Semester 3 in degree studies. In this event, our leader had separated us into several groups, I was one of the member in the food and beverage planning team. We had planned the floor plan and table arrangement. We had visited the restaurant several times to measure the length and the width of the restaurant to estimate how many tables and chairs were able to fit in the restaurant for our 105 pax. Other than that, we also helped each other to complete the tasks. For example, I had assisted the decoration team to decorate the main entrance, bar counter, cocktail counter and also helping them to wrap the hampers. After that, the make up artist also helped us to make up the skeleton image on our face. Then, we work as a server to serve all the food and the beverage to the guests for the entire dinner. After the event, we started to clean up and rearrange all the tables and chairs back to normal. For example, we removed all the decorations and rearranged back the previous tables arrangement. It was an amazing night that able to work together with my classmates and we had done the food promo fluently.
